Privacy policy

Props Goat (“we”, “us”) is a sports prop research and bet tracking app at www.propsgoat.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not get your Google password or access to your Gmail, Drive or other Google data.
- Profile settings. Display name, photo you upload, and favorite team.
- What you add to the app. Bets you log, players you shortlist or pass on, notes, ideas, and voice recordings you make on the Voice page along with their transcripts.
- Basic usage data. When you last signed in or used the app, and technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting providers for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To show your bets, shortlist, results and settings back to you and your team.
- To transcribe voice recordings you choose to make.
- To run, fix and improve the app.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google user data
Props Goat's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use your Google name, email and profile picture to create and sign in to your account, and we do not share them with anyone except the service providers listed below that run the app.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the app for us, under their own privacy and security terms:
- Supabase (database, file storage and sign-in)
- Vercel (hosting)
- Resend (sign-in emails)
- OpenAI (transcribing voice recordings)
- Google (if you choose Sign in with Google)
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. Ask us to delete your account and we will delete your profile, uploads and recordings within 30 days, apart from anything we must keep by law.
Your choices
- Change your photo and favorite team any time from the account menu.
- Disconnect Google from the account menu, or remove Props Goat's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Email us to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS and stored with access rules so only signed-in members can read it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Age
Props Goat is for adults who are of legal age to bet where they live, and in any case at least 21. It is not meant for anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell signed-in members about significant changes.
